Protein

I am trying to up my protein intake and have had trouble finding quick fixes for between meals because most supplement powders also have a lot of carbs. I use hammer gel during rides so I was checking out their website, and they have some good protein options - pure protein without the carbs.
Quick facts:
  1. Soy protein pre workout/race meal - cardiovascular benefits - also suggested adding it to pancake mix to up your protein in the morning.

  2. Whey protein for recovery - most rapidly absorbed protein - also helps boost immune system

Their website has great information about fueling the body before/during/after a workout.

Thanks for the site D-Lish, Although I know what your getting at when you say raising your protein intake. What you do in the privacy of your bathroom is your own business. Really is good gouge though. I am going to try the pancake trick tomorrow.
